Colorful hands, carefully cut from repurposed felted sweaters and sewn on by each child, come together to make one big heart. Dandelion flowers, stems, and leaves are made out of finger knitting and finger weaving by children out of hand-dyed yarns with marigold and indigo. Each child’s symbol is needle-felted by Ms. Michiyo.
