The Sunflower children have worked since the fall to sew their burlap squares. Using an embroidery hoop and a yarn needle, each child chose their own yarn and worked out of their own initiative to create the 12 unique pieces that make up our class project. The 12 squares were joined together to create a hanging piece, and the back of the piece has each student's name written on the back of their particular square.
